Dua Lipa has returned from honeymoon mode, but her wardrobe has not fully left the holiday.
Spotted in New York City outside Electric Lady Studios, the singer brought her vacation staples into a working day look that felt relaxed, expensive and very much her own. Instead of a strict studio uniform, Lipa leaned into the pieces that have defined her off-duty style: denim, soft accessories, luxury details and a sense of summer that does not disappear when the flight lands.
A Studio Look With Holiday Energy
Dua Lipa’s New York look felt less like a return to work and more like an extension of her recent Italian summer wardrobe.
She wore a long-sleeve sketch-print Ann Demeulemeester top with distressed Polo Ralph Lauren denim shorts, balancing a darker fashion piece with casual holiday ease. A Palace cap worn backwards added a streetwear note, while the rest of the styling kept the look in luxury territory.
The result was not polished in a traditional sense. It was styled, personal and slightly undone, which is where Lipa’s best off-duty fashion often sits.

The Accessories Made the Look
The strength of the outfit was in the accessories.
An oversized black Chanel flap bag gave the look weight, while a Celine western belt added structure to the denim shorts. Her Bulgari Serpenti Seduttori gold watch brought a sharp jewellery detail, and quilted burgundy Chanel ballet flats softened the outfit with a more feminine finish.
Lipa also wore her custom Eera engagement ring from Callum Turner, adding a personal note to a look already shaped by travel, romance and post-honeymoon energy.
Vacation Pieces, City Setting
What makes this outfit interesting is the way it shifts holiday pieces into a city setting.
Denim shorts, ballet flats, a cap and soft luxury accessories could easily read as vacation staples. On Lipa, they become a New York studio look. That balance feels current because fashion is moving away from strict categories. Travel clothes, work clothes and off-duty clothes now overlap more than ever.
This is the new mood of celebrity street style: pieces that look lived-in, but still carry brand value, styling control and camera awareness.

From Italy to New York
Lipa’s recent Italy wardrobe leaned into full vacation language.
She wore vintage Galliano, Tom Ford-era Gucci, Chanel sets, bikinis from Oseree, Mars the Label and Burberry, and matching workout sets from CSB. The mood was sun, food, swimwear, vintage dresses and la vacanza dressing at its most polished.
Her New York studio outfit keeps some of that spirit alive, but makes it more urban. The holiday is over, but the styling says otherwise.
